Surf Outlook:
The south shores will be dropping some Sunday into Monday. Small to very small surf on the west shores lowering into Monday.  Wind swell waves will remain active on the east shores and rise a little Sunday into Monday. The north shores will find flat to very small surf…with wind swell breaking locally.

South shores -
Surf will gradually lower through Monday. The waves will be on the rise again Tuesday, peaking into Wednesday…then lowering after mid-week. The following week should be smaller in general.

West shores –
These beaches will find very small surf breaking from the south swell Sunday and Monday. The surf will rise again around Tuesday into Wednesday.

East shoresSurf along these shores will remain active, as the trade winds continue to push wind swell our way. As the trade winds remain active into the new week…the wind swell will stay up.

North shores - Wind swell wrap will keep very small surf breaking along these shores locally…although near flat at times. There are no northwest swells in sight, as is common during the summer surf season.

Marine Warnings and Advisories:
Active watches and warnings

Note:
Wave face readings are approximately twice the surf forecast numbers indicated in the tables above.

I want to thank all of the Hawaii Weather Today surf report team for all those years of reporting on the TV weather show…which is now finished: Ole Olson on Kauai; Kaleo Ohina, Ian Masterson and Kyle Stanford on Oahu; Steven Mark, Mike Napier, Ken Potts and Ron Busby on Maui…and finally David Hume on the Big Island. Thanks to Mr. Pat Caldwell on Oahu for his continuing surf forecast skills. ~~~ Steven Mark and Mike Napier, both continue to send me daily surf reports for Hookipa Beach Park on Maui, and the Kihei area on the south coast.
